You’re invited to a River Bend birthday party! Whether you’re a parent, child, an adult who loves nature, or any combination of these, we invite you to celebrate your birthday at River Bend Nature Center.
Program Options
Next, choose a program. Nature programs are hands-on, outdoor science based explorations. Recreation programs are led by our experienced, certified instructors. All programs are designed around the age of your group and generally last one hour.
Em’s Cabin
Start with a beautiful space for cake and presents. Em’s Cabin is perfect for a birthday party. This 624 square foot facility comfortably seats 35 people. A 2 hour rental costs $150. There is a deck in the back and a covered porch in front.

Nature Programs – $7.00 per child, 10 child minimum
-Water: discover the hidden wonders of life around the ponds.
-Survival Skills: learn how to travel and survive in the wilderness.
-Tracks: Search for signs of animal life and make an animal track to take home.
Recreation Programs
-Archery: $10.00 per participant, 10 person minimum. Participants must be at least 7 years old.
-Canoeing/Kayaking: Guided Program – $25.00 per boat + $25 for the guide (subject to watercraft availability)
